Exercise Your Right…Vote Early and Safely!

The Rowan County Board of Elections is now offering early voting, which started yesterday and will continue until Saturday, October 31, 2020. For the next two and half weeks, early voting sites will be opened Monday through Friday from 8 am to 7:30 pm; Saturdays from 8am to 3 pm; and on Sundays from 1 pm to 5 pm. Early voting is available at the following locations:

• Rowan County Board of Elections: 1935 Jake Alexander Blvd. West. Salisbury, NC 28147
• Cleveland Town Hall: 302 East Main Street, Cleveland, NC 27103
• South Rowan Public Library: 920 Kimball Road, China Grove, NC 28023
• Spencer Municipal Building: 600 South Salisbury Avenue, Spencer, NC 28159
• Rockwell American Legion Building: 8580 US Hwy 52, Rockwell, NC 28138 

Please be reassured that the Rowan County Board of Elections is following all the NC State and CDC Recommendations in order to keep you safe by doing the following:

1. Encouraging everyone to wear a mask at each site
2. Practicing social distancing while waiting to vote and when voting
3. Providing ink pens to each voter to reduce the chance of cross-contamination
4. Providing hand sanitizer at each site
5. Sanitizing each voting booth after each voter leaves and before another voter enters
