Do Your Part and Get Behind the Mask

As we ease into the third week of Phase 2.5, it is more important than ever that we all do our part to stop the spread of the coronavirus. It’s not that we aren’t all tired of masking up, but it’s definitely one of the ways that we can keep each other safe as we come in contact with more people and as our local businesses are trying to slowly open back up.

In order to help our community and our economy to get back to normal, you not only need to wear a mask every time you leave your home, but you need to also make sure you are wearing it correctly. That means that your mask covers both your nose and mouth and stays there until you are safely in the comfort of your own home or car.

Remember your actions affect everyone around you! What you do or do not do may have major consequences for someone you love, that is older, and/or has underlying health issues. You wouldn’t want to be responsible for that person getting sick, would you?

Do the right thing! Mask up, practice social distancing, and wash your hands often, especially as we get ready to enter into flu season. The more people who practice the 3W’s, the faster we can get back to a somewhat normal way of life. Also remember that children over the age of 2 are also required to wear masks; if they can reliably wear, remove, and handle cloth face coverings throughout the day.
