Donations for Those Affected by COVID-19

Rowan County and the Public Health Command Center remain committed to all segments of our community. As we have worked hard to coordinate feeding needs for our underserved population, we’d also like to encourage our citizens to assist where able.

Please consider supporting local food banks or making a financial donation to support locations throughout the state. Fortunately, Rowan County’s feeding programs are not currently at risk. However, without continual support, a need may arise.

Visit Feeding the Carolinas to find a food bank near you. Please share this information with friends, families and colleagues.

Fresh food resources can also be found at the Rowan County Public Health Department’s Healthy Lifestyles webpage.

Remember the 3 W’s

Individuals and families can help slow the spread by continuing to follow the 3 W’s. Whether working or shopping at local businesses, please remember to WEAR, WAIT, and WASH!

Wait 6 feet apart/ avoid close contact
Wash your hands often or use hand sanitizer
