Recommendations for Shared Living Situations

As we continue moving through our shared COVID-19 situation, the Public Health Command Center would like to offer resources for those who also share living spaces. This includes places such as apartments, condominiums, student or faculty housing, transitional housing, and domestic violence and abuse shelters.

Shared housing residents often gather together closely for social, leisure, and recreational activities, shared dining, and/or use of shared equipment, such as kitchen appliances, laundry facilities, stairwells, and elevators. Families and individuals should take precautions for their health.

Whether working or shopping at local businesses, please remember the 3 W’s: WEAR, WAIT, and WASH!

Wear a cloth face covering
Wait 6 feet apart/ avoid close contact
Wash your hands often or use hand sanitizer
