Additional Measures Taken To Ensure Social Distancing County Building

Beginning Monday, April 20^th 2020, the County Building located at 402 N Main St in Salisbury will be requiring all citizens enter the building using the front entrance. The side doors will be restricted for handicap access only. The side parking lots will re-open for convenience parking. We still encourage individuals to review our online service options to reduce the need for in person visits.

Additional COVID-19 Data Sharing

Hospital Beds & Ventilators
Starting today, the Public Health Command Center will be sharing information for both Novant Rowan and the VA Hospital. Combined, there are 102 beds dedicated for COVID-19 patients; 30 are currently being used. Additionally, between the 2 hospitals there are 61 ventilators on hand. Nine are being used at this time. Each hospital has pre-existing contingency plans which will provide for additional beds and ventilators should the need arise. These needs would be coordinated through the larger system that each are a part of.
