Rowan County COVID-19 Confirmed Cases: 58

Changes to the Courthouse Entrance

The front entrance to the courthouse will be closed beginning this Wednesday, April 8^th. This is only temporary as we work through this virus situation. The Liberty Street entrance will be utilized because it easily accessible by all.

COVID-19 Testing Information

We have not received updated testing information at the time of release.

921 specimens submitted, 58 specimens have tested positive.

Of the 58 positive cases we have found the following:

15 of those were travel related and 43 were community acquired
12 patients have recovered, 7 are hospitalized, 1 deceased, and we continue to follow-up with 38 individuals.
These results are from the NC State Laboratory of Public Health and all reporting hospital and commercial labs.
