Rowan County COVID-19 Confirmed Cases: 37

Rowan County Officials Share Informational Messages

Rowan County Officials have created informational messages to provide citizens with specific department information, changes in operational procedures, and important safety messaging. These public service announcements can be located on our COVID-19 Website: www.rowancountync.gov/covid-19

COVID-19 testing information

697 specimens submitted, 37 specimens have tested positive.

Of the 37 positive cases we have found the following:

13 of those were travel related and 24 were community acquired
9 patients have recovered, 5 are hospitalized, 1 deceased, and we continue to follow-up with 22 individuals.
These results are from the NC State Laboratory of Public Health and all reporting hospital and commercial labs.
