NEWS RELEASE

FROM: ROWAN COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS

Any person wishing to file notice of candidacy in the November 5^th Municipal Elections may do so beginning Friday, July 5, 2019 at 12:00 noon through Friday, July 19, 2019 at 12:00 noon. All candidates in the following municipalities should file with the Rowan County Board of Elections, 1935 Jake Alexander Blvd., West, Suite D-10, Salisbury, NC 28147 (West End Plaza): China Grove, Cleveland, East Spencer, Faith, Granite Quarry, Kannapolis (residents living in Rowan County), Landis, Rockwell, Salisbury, and Spencer.

Candidates must be residents and qualified voters of the Town or City in which they file for office.

Any questions about the filing may be answered by calling the elections office at (704)216-8140. Our hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
