[ARCHIVED] Runway Closure Notice

As many of you know, the airport has been diligently working with NCDOT to secure a grant to replace the runway service, as well as, a crown and groove addition. After a great deal of work by the airports engineering firm and NCDOT, I am happy to announce the airport has been awarded a grant for the runway. Unfortunately, repairing the runway will require it to be closed for approximately 14 days. Construction has been scheduled to start on June 25 and end on July 8. Please note: Any weather delay deemed reasonable by NCDOT, could result in an extension of the closure. All parties involved are very cognizant of the inconvenience and will strive, in their efforts, to complete the project within the scheduled dates. If any changes occur to the schedule, all tenants will be contacted via email. During this time, the airport will remain open, allowing tenants to access their hangars and the airport terminal.
