Rowan County COVID-19 Case Information:

Rowan County Public Health is Hosting a Pfizer Booster Clinic

 Rowan County Public Health, which is located at 1811 East Innes Street, will host a Pfizer Booster COVID-19 Clinic on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 8 am to 4:30 pm. To make an appointment, we ask that you please call 704-216-8777 and choose Extension 3.  

Please note that in order to receive a Pfizer Booster shot, the 3rd Dose Vaccine Criteria will apply. This means that you need to fall into one of the following categories, and you must have received the Pfizer-BioNTech initial series at least 6 months ago:

*For those individuals who may have received the Moderna vaccine series or the Johnson and Johnson shot, please know that approval for a booster must be made by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), the Center for Disease and Control and Prevention (CDC), and the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NC DHHS) before it can be made available to the citizens in our state. Please continue to monitor our Facebook page, our website, and our local media outlets for any updates on this process.
