Wreath & Homemade Soap Sale

Rowan County 4-H will again be selling wreaths and garlands during our annual Wreath Sale! This year, we are also selling homemade soap, which is perfect for a stocking stuffer or gift for the holidays!

Wreath & Soap Sale

PLEASE NOTE: Since our pick-up date was so close to Christmas last year, we have made it much earlier this year to help meet your decorating needs. To keep your greenery fresh for as long as possible, make sure to soak it overnight (greenery side down) in a tub full of cold water on the day you pick it up. Keep it in a cool location until you hang it. Purchase an empty spray bottle and fill it with cold water and spray your greenery every day. If possible, keeping it out of sunlight or away from heat vents helps to prolong life as well. You can also purchase a product called “Wilt Pruf” to spray on your greenery (as recommended by the Extension Master Gardeners). This product can be found on Amazon or potentially at local retailers. *All orders must be submitted no later than Monday, October 25, 2021.* *Item pick up will be on Thursday, November 18 at the Rowan County office.* Our wreaths and garland are grown and made at a North Carolina Christmas tree farm in Alleghany County. The soap is made by Rowan County 4-H.

Fall Plant Sale

The Fall 2021 4-H Plant Sale has officially begun! Due to limited inventory, you must call 704-216-8970 to place your order. Must order no later than 5 p.m. on October 28.

You can also drop off exact cash or check at the Extension office at the same address on Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. We cannot accept cards; we apologize for the inconvenience.
