Rowan County Public Health is HERE for You!

As our community slowly tries to get back to a normal routine, please note that Rowan County Public Health (RCPH) is offering our normal, pre-COVID programs and services to the public once again.

Appointments can be made at 704-216-8777, with directions and options being given to you based on the type of service(s) you are seeking out. Please also feel free to visit our website for more information on our services and programming.

RCPH is open Monday-Friday 8 am to 5 pm. For individuals interested in making a Woman, Infant, and Child (WIC) appointment for themselves and/or their child, please note that these appointments are not yet available in-person and are still only available over the phone through the direction that RCPH has received from the federal government. More information will be sent out as appointments slowly transition to in-person in the coming future.  

In closing, please also remember that Rowan County Public Health is offering COVID vaccinations in-house on Monday afternoons and Thursday mornings. In addition to that, we are also offering appointments for other required immunizations and well-child check-ups on Tuesday afternoons and Friday mornings, as well.  If you and/or your child need of any of these services, please call 704-216-8837 to make an appointment.

Thanks again to our citizens for your continued support over the past year and half as we worked together to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 throughout Rowan County. Please know that we are here to assist you with your healthcare needs as we continue to strive to prevent, protect, and promote healthier choices and lifestyles for each individual and for our community, as a whole.
