Rowan County COVID-19 Case Information: https://bit.ly/rowan-covid19-hub

You Have a Spot. Take Your Shot.

If you have still not received your COVID Vaccine but are interested in doing so, please visit the CDC’s vaccine finder. Here you will find a number of local agencies/businesses that are offering COVID vaccines in Rowan County, such as:

  1. Novant Health at the J. F. Hurley YMCA; Walk-ins are accepted M-F 8 am – 5 pm
  2. Larger chain pharmacies: CVS and Walgreens
  3. Grocery Stores: Walmart, Food Lion (Salisbury and China Grove), Sam’s Club
  4. Local pharmacies: Moose Pharmacy, The Medicine Shoppe, Country Pharmacy, Price Pharmacy, and Cannon Pharmacy
  5. Provider offices: Rowan Diagnostic Clinic, Cleveland Wellness Clinic

To find out more information about which vaccines are being offered and when they are being offered, please contact the agency/business directly.

As Rowan County Public Health transitions from mass vaccinations, please know that our number one priority continues to be making sure our community gets vaccinated. As we move forward, we will now focus more on partnering with local businesses and areas throughout Rowan County where access may be an issue, in addition to making sure that all  eligible youth get vaccinated as soon as possible. Please note that as of yesterday, the CDC now recommends that all youth ages 12 years and older now get vaccinated with the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. By doing this, they are not only protecting themselves from COVID-19, but preventing virus-related hospitalizations and deaths. More information concerning  the use of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine in adolescents 12 or older can be found at CDC Director’s statement

As more of our citizens get vaccinated, we continue to ask that you practice the 3Ws when going out, especially in highly congested areas where social distancing is limited.  Also as a friendly reminder…Vaccines can only save lives when communities get vaccinated. Do your part to help make our community healthy again…GET VACCINATED!
