Rowan County COVID-19 Case Information:

Rowan County Public Health continues to encourage Group 1 and Group 2 to seek vaccinations this week

Make an Appointment for a First Dose Vaccine for Thursday, February 18th

Next week after February 24th, Group 3 – Essential Workers – Childcare and K-12 school personnel will be eligible to receive their vaccines. We are encouraging Group 1 and Group 2 individuals to seek vaccinations this week before more individuals become eligible for vaccines.

Appointment slots are now available on the County’s First Dose Clinics webpage for first dose vaccine clinics, which will be held at the West End Plaza on Thursday, February 18thCitizens may also call the COVID hotline at 980-432-1800 and push 1 when prompted after 9 AM. We encourage you to make all attempts to schedule online.  Citizens without access to computers or internet may wish to visit their nearest Rowan Public Library location to utilize the free public Wi-Fi and computers. 

Please note that emails cannot be accepted as a way to schedule an appointment, so staff will be unable to help you and will have to redirect you to the webpage.
