First-Dose Vaccination Clinic Hosted on Friday in East Spencer, Call-in Appointments Available Today at 1 PM

Rowan County Public Health and Rowan County Emergency Services are working with community partners to address disparities in COVID-19 vaccine access. We are partnering with the Town of East Spencer to offer a walk-in COVID-19 vaccine clinic to better reach individuals who are African-American and 65 and older in Rowan County. This effort is to provide vaccines in an equitable manner to all citizens within Rowan County.

Starting at 1 p.m. today, citizens may call 980-892-4500 to schedule an appointment for the clinic to be held on Friday, February 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.  This walk-in clinic will be held at the East Spencer Northside Community Center, located at 729 N Long Street, Salisbury, NC 28144, and is intended for individuals who are African-American and 65 and older in Rowan County. View East Spencer Event Flyer (PDF) for more details.

Thank you for your continued patience as we work toward our number one priority of ensuring that all Rowan County citizens that want a vaccine can receive it, while also balancing vaccine supply and abiding by the phased approach provided to us by NCDHHS.
