Rowan County Public Health Hosts 1^st Dose COVID Vaccinations Today for Groups 1 & 2; Appointment ONLY

Rowan County Public Health is hosting a COVID-19 vaccine clinic today for any individual that falls into Groups 1 or 2 and who was able to make an appointment this past Monday, February 1, 2021 with Rowan County Public Health. Please see the state’s guidelines for Groups 1 and 2: 

• Group 1: Health care workers and long-term care staff and residents
• Group 2: Older adults (anyone 65 years or older)

West End Plaza (former Salisbury Mall)
1935 Jake Alexander Boulevard, West

Traffic Flow

Please plan to enter West End Plaza from the traffic light on Statesville Boulevard (directly in front of Food Lion). You must enter the parking lot coming eastbound (heading back towards Salisbury) so that you can make a right turn into the West End Plaza parking lot. If you are coming westbound from West Innes Street or Jake Alexander Boulevard (going towards Statesville), you will be required to make a U-turn past West End Plaza on Statesville Boulevard. Please know that city/county personnel will be at the entrance of the West End Plaza to help direct you.

Insurance Cards 

Please note that the vaccine is FREE to everyone; however, we are filing insurance for administrative costs. If you wouldn’t mind, please remember to bring your insurance card. Regardless of whether or not you do have insurance, please know that there will be no direct cost to you. 

Rowan County Public Health’s number one priority is to ensure that all Rowan County citizens that want a vaccine can receive it, while also balancing vaccine supply and abiding by the phased approach provided to us by NCDHHS.
