Inspections

Inspections are required during different phases of construction.  All well installation, repair, and abandonment inspections must be called in by the well company before 9 a.m. on the day of installation. No inspections will be accepted after 9 a.m.

Once all inspections are completed and approved, a Well Completion Permit (COC) is issued. Well Completion Permits for newly constructed wells cannot be signed off on until the well has passed inspection and water sample results have been received from the N.C. State Lab.
