Permits for Well Systems
Applications for a well installation, repair or abandonment may be made Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. An application fee is required. Well permits will only be issued once a site evaluation has taken place and is approved.
Inspections are required during different phases of construction, repair or abandonment of wells. All well installation, repair, and abandonment inspections must be called in by the well company on the day of before 9 a.m. No inspections will be accepted after 9 a.m. When all inspections are completed and approved, a Well Completion Permit is issued.
