Defining Needs

After conducting a community survey and looking at state and national data, Rowan County officials clearly identified three underserved areas: Northern, Western, and Southeastern Rowan County.

Task Force

In February 2018, the Rowan County Board of Commissioners determined it necessary to form a Broadband Task Force that would include key stakeholders to promote community involvement. The Task Force was comprised of seven members representing technical, political, management, and citizen involvement.
