Project Food, Land & People, or FLP, is a national environmental education curriculum delivered through the soil and water conservation districts. The Food, Land, and People Activity Guide offers hands-on, interdisciplinary lessons on topics connecting people, the land we live on, and the food that sustains us.

Project Learning Tree

There are no Project Learning Trees scheduled at this time. 

Project Learning Tree is an award-winning environmental education program designed for teachers and other educators working with youth from K-8th grade. PLT uses trees and forests as tool to introduce students to multi-disciplinary activities that are aligned to state and national standards. 

This workshop qualifies as Criteria 1 for NC Environmental Education Certification
